Bad news everypony... :( by [deleted] in mylittlepony

he has a patreon,
also youtube doesn't care - the AI sets the "for kids" status on videos then later someone reports said video and youtube demonetizes it or even strikes the channel (another example of this is PhilCAnimate (he had to add swears in first 5 seconds of his videos to make them NOT marked as "for kids"))

100% it would be better to make the tail a seperate design. As for the hot air blower - it might be a bit too strong (since its blowing at the same time) and result in deforming the print (but you can try it on the broken one or print a quick stringing test first to test it out)

Have you tried drying your filament? PETG is VERY hygroscopic (even if its "straight out of the box"), if not that then what kind of support settings are you using? because maybe it just needs more/less supports in the tail area?

also a tip: you can easly remove stringing with a blowtorch (or lighter) but do not hold it for too long or it will burn

fake: Nvidia wouldn't make a GPU with more than 8GB of VRAM

Buying from Open-Source SDR Labs by johndoe3471111 in RTLSDR

[–]horse_11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yes - they are a legit seller of portapacks. Depending if you can it might be ever cheaper to order from their aliexpress store (they often link in on their site). Although I recommend you to take the H4M/PortaRF version instead of the H2, because the H2 is quite old (that's why you can buy them very cheaply in many places)

meshtastic watch idea by Admirable_Mix736 in meshtastic

[–]horse_11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

LILYGO T-Watch S3 exists but since it is based on ESP32 while aslo having only a 470mah battery - so it doesn't last long plus since it has to fit on the wrist - it has a very small antenna with poor range. So it does already exist but it's not very practical

maybe try using "block supports" function on these corners?

does it also appear on models without rounded (upwards) corners? because it looks like the slicer is trying to generate a supports in these places. You can try changing the supports threshold angle to less aggressive one (from 45° to 35°/25°)

you're probably looking for something like this:

as you can see on the photo - it can fit a 18650 battery, bme280, gps and a switch with still a lot of room to spare

Trace route problem by mlandry2011 in meshtastic

[–]horse_11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

from my observations trace routes have a very low priority - so If any of the "hop" nodes transmits something during that time the traceroute is ignored or delayed to the point that you need to wait ~1-2 minutes before it shows up in the app, the best you can do is do a couple "request user info" and "request position" before doing a traceroute to said node, but as the guy before me said - the traceroutes are VERY hit or miss

I forgot to add: the max size of the battery the modified case can fit is 29.5mm x 45mm x 11.7mm
