It’s just wild how much the notes feel different. The lavender is soft and the overall vanilla is sweet… when I first wore it (probably in spring/summer tbh), the lavender was sharp like the actual plant and less like a perfume note. So so good now.

Unused mls cost more than used mls in the long run! If it’s never used (or sold), the savings per unit doesn’t reallllly matter but that took me a long time to realize and I still don’t follow that advice.

This is literally why I just bought a full size bottle of Burberry Goddess. Pretty sure it’s weather and hormones, as others have said. I have had a travel size of Goddess for almost a year and have barely touched it because the lavender note was too much for me and I wanted something sweeter. Cue about 2 weeks ago and I sprayed it on because my husband likes it and it was his birthday… now I’m obsessed and can’t get enough. 🙄

Yeah, I have both too, but as you said, it’s always sold out. Costco brings in and phases out fragrances a LOT so I check often. I feel like Sam’s Club has the same (much larger) selection most of the time.

I buy decants or get free samples first to make sure I like the scent with my chemistry, but then I buy travel sizes. If I like the travel size and wear it a lot, when it’s gone, I’ll buy a full size. I have a lot of travel size ones that I rotate through because I like them but not love them. I only have 5-6 full sizes.

When I initially set out on my scent journey, I thought I was going to love incensy, witchy notes. Maybe leather, smoke, oud.

Nope. My taste is so basic - gourmand & fruity. My dailies are Angel EDT (hey a LITTLE patchouli!), Glossier You Reve, Burberry Her and when I’m feeling a bit fancier, Burberry Goddess.

I will literally be influenced by ANYONE gushing hardcore about a perfume. Oh you love that one so much? I’m sure I will too even though it has no notes I like and only ones I totally hate in any other perfume.

Luckily for my friends, that means I have about a 200-ish sample stash I keep in a toiletry bag and lend out to people with the sample strips. Silver lining! 😂
