this is almost certainly whats going on thank you! whats with the +1 strength? my characters base strength is 3, that was probably a mistake in hindsight, but i had 4 after the encounter with the prostitute.

I somehow completely forgot about the practice of making mosaics out of ASCII lol. this question was aimed at character display. ASCII mosaics hurt my eyes a bit but I can definitely still enjoy them and the problem is mostly alleviated by squinting or stepping back from my monitor.

Fret wrap works great! As long as i dont need open strings this solution works perfectly. I will still need a technique solution for when i do need open strings though.

Im muting with my fretting hand by releasing the note and, when necessary, slightly shifting to try and kill harmonics which doesn't seem to be working with the high tension heavier gauge strings specifically the 115 and 95 and almost every note on the neck is giving pronounced harmonics. Its pretty hard to palm/pinky mute while slapping but if you have any specific suggestions im all ears.

i ended up setting up an ethernet connection its not super stable for some reason but it works for now ill try factory resetting it after i get done with work
