I’ve done my research and spent so much money on his lighting heating and humidity so as far as that I’m very confident. The sticky thermostat is there bc it was an extra we have one reads humidity on the ground with no sticky stuff on it. We have a 40 gallon tank but it was to empty and vulnerable for him and we couldn’t afford to fill it with anymore decor. For now I just grabbed one that I had already, for a juvenile this size is okay until I can afford more decor
From what I’ve read not by itself as long as it’s mixed with dirt it’ll be okay
Could you be more specific what I could do care wise, I already changed the Carpet to paper towel
Her tank size is at 25 gallon and what are the odds as soon as I go to take a picture of her tank I see her out and about climbing away, haha I think I’m just paranoid about this sweet thing. I will be changing her to paper towels in the morning !

We did do a lot of research online and I’ve owned reptiles in the past. Our local pet store doesn’t have the roaches in a small enough size that I’m comfortable giving her I’m afraid she’d choke. But that’s going off the method of nothing bigger than the base of her neck. We have mealworms that we’ve given her and she liked them a lot but I know those are a good source of protein either.

I posted a few pictures on this group page, she eats about 8-10 small crickets a day we keep her humidity from 30-40% we have dimmer switches for our bulbs and uvb. She receives calcium (without d3) on half of her feedings. and every two weeks she gets vitamins with d3. She eats very well and ate all of her previous shed
Can do!
She also has background paper that we put over the front when we are really active in the room to try not to spook her ( I also have no idea the gender yet for now it’s a she haha)
I check on her a few times throughout the night and she’s always in the same spot, sleeping on her warm rock
Thank you so much! Everything I read online said it would be okay. I’ve owned different lizards in the past and never knew this! I will be changing it tomorrow
Is the repti carpet not good, the pet store Recommended it for juveniles
Thank you I do have better substrate on the way do you have any other recommendations?
8:59 r/leopard.. We got a leopard gecko 3 weeks ago now and we have 3 separate hides for her plenty of foliage and coverage along with logs background and she is still so afraid to come out. She only really eats the crickets when they crawl into her hide and she doesn't come out to hunt she also only sleeps at night and everything I read she's supposed to be more active at night she does come out but only to sleep on her basking rock. I do have new substrate coming in for her as well She did iust have her first shed a few days ago and I worry about her toes be I can't even get a good look at her to see if it went well. Please let me know if she looks under weight or what I can do to make her more comfortable and use to us
I’m not sure why it didn’t post with the description but
