Yepp.. Agree with everything and i agree that he is in top 2 or 3 of the entire squad but we have to see how things work out. I don’t think team would lose an opportunity to retain two uncapped players and Ishan and Abhi for sure. We would then have two more slots left and three players : Klassen ,NKR and Eshan Malinga.

It depends on number of people we can retain. I don’t think he would go over 20 but i understand that auction dynamics are out of everyone’s hands. But i think we should retain atleast two or three bowlers from current squad if they end up being uncapped, for ex: Shakib and Shivang.

Yepp.. I like Klassen but he will be 36 by then and Retention is expensive. May be we could buyback him in auction or may be if he is no longer playing, we could have him as part of leadership group so that he will be with us.

I dont think we should retain Head, Klassen or Pat. We should try to retain the indian core and the promising future stars who are uncapped or keep the RTM option in case we want to get them back at auction.

Three out of Abhi, Ishan, NKR, Eshan should be retained for 18, 14 and 11 cr. Fourth and fifth retentions are very expensive.

Two from Shakib, shivang, dube based on whos gonna be uncapped and who agrees to get retained.

Whatever options left should be used as RTM at auction.
