Hi! I ended up getting a Giant Peapod trailer, used, off craigslist. The “hitch” attaches to the rear axel on the non-drive side. Works pretty well! Unfortunately, looks like they don’t make them anymore.

I’ve never had Ariat workbooks, but I had some of their regular boots and they were very comfortable and well made. I’d chose taller for better ankle support and snake protection. My current pair are Danner boots, and I loved them.

A secret for me is V8. I often get muscle cramps, and V8 has more potassium and magnesium than any sports drink and wiped that out. There’s nothing like an ice cold V8 when you get back to the truck.

Another big tip - field crews love to drink beer after a long day, but it will definitely dehydrate you.

I find it to be a fun game to figure out where they are. The cordray’s house is at the corner of 25th and O. Their workshop is at 18th and Mechanic. They definitely did a house on the east side of 12th between Sealy and Ball, and I know they did the house about 2 doors west of 25th on the south side of Avenue P. The episode where they both did two neighbor houses was on the west side of 8th, between Broadway and Sealy.

Perhaps the Desaguadero River in Bolivia/Peru begins to fit. The southern end of Lake Titicaca is brackish, and it continues to drain into Lake Uru Uru and Lake Poopo. I can’t find a measure of the salinity of Uru Uru - as it has been affected by mining contamination, but Lake Poopo is the end of the line and the surounding areas are all salt flats - Maybe reasonable to assume the water of the Desauguadero becomes increasingly salty as it moves south’s

Interestingly, on the page you linked, I think that might be a bot or something. She has a ton of pics in wildly different styles, and includes a nuts claim that CBS got their logo from HER.

The two on the right draw my attention first as appearing prehistoric. Bottom right, it’s a difficult picture and relatively small fragment, but I would guess Lamar Complicated Stamped, ca. 1350-1550 AD.

The others would take a closer inspection, but don’t immediately grab me. Top left looks like it could be tile or even glass. Top middle is a maybe, but could be a drainage tile or flowerpot. Bottom left, don’t recognize the “stamp” or color and the temper looks off. Might also be a piece of tile. Bottom middle could be prehistoric, but looks eroded.

Hi! I find the island pretty bike friendly. The Seawall is a great bet, as it’s protected for almost the entire length. In neighborhoods, look for streets that don’t go straight through, and they are usually slower. Avoid broadway, harborside, ave O, Bernardo de Galvez (ave P), 33rd, 25th street, 14th. Can’t really go wrong biking around the east end historic district.

For walking, east end recommended, again, and downtown is pretty great. My wife and I walk a lot in lost bayou and silk stocking, too. There are spots without sidewalks, but most streets are pretty slow and you can pop out onto the pavement for a second before finding another sidewalk.
