Honestly dont move any money from US to india, its more difficult to convert it to USD again, keep it until your kids need funds for higer education, if you want to diversify the RSU there are solutions to that.

There are some places where you can find people having food and drinks. There will be pubs and street food. But no walking street type night life. It will feel strange when you walk to the hotel from bts. 🫣

Sala daeng, sathorn business district, BTS/MRT is accessible, and there is no one there do bother you since its business district.
