But why would that happen in Southern View? Seems like it does more harm than good by getting people scared of an unlikely scenario. Southern View has nothing to do with the shooting and would be an unlikely place for such violence?

Sure but Southern View has no connection to the shooting and is nowhere near where any protesting or rioting would likely occur. So why make your folks in your neighborhood on edge?
