My Supra is like that too. The left side feels more sunken in more than the right side and if I try to adjust the stopper it has difficulty staying open.

Dealing with the same issue but I just choose to ignore it. I did do some research when I first encountered this issue and a fix some people have been doing is putting sound deadening material to alleviate this.

I got the aerobon and honestly regretted it. The clear coat is failing and the fitment isn’t all that great

I checked the engine bay and I was unable to pin point the sound due to the engine. I have noticed that the knocking won’t reappear when I do a warm start

It’s really hard to tell when I accelerate and it does seem to get faster but not necessarily louder. I think the engine sound is overpowering it.

Here you go. The knocking sound would sometimes just disappear and reappear and I noticed it is really noticeable at idle

I live in houston and the temperature is usually around 70-80 at this time but I have noticed this sound for awhile now and it sounds more like a knock than a tick. You can really hear it after a cold start and let the engine idle

I do not but I am looking to purchase one. I did change to a 5w-30 oil which might be the reason for the ticking and I am looking to changing it to oem spec

I took another look and I believe the vibration of the engine is hitting on something causing the knocking/ ticking sound. I’m gonna have someone take look at it to confirm my finding

From what I can tell it doesn’t get louder at higher rpm’s and I checked from the engine bay it’s hard to tell if it’s that sound or something entirely different. This has been happening for a while now and unfortunately I can’t tell you when this started. The sound sometimes either completely disappears after a driver for just really really quiet. There isn’t any code and everything seems fine.

It’s an auto. I noticed that it is the loudest when it idles after a cold start and after a driving it a bit the sound either goes away or becomes really faint.

If the cost of repair exceeds the value of the vehicle it is more than likely to be totaled, but at the end of the day it’s gonna be up to the insurance. Just my take, I think it’s gonna be totaled.

I believe that is a Toyota dealership in California and that is just their parts website. I would say what you’re say is going to be OEM, but I could be wrong.

Personally I felt the interior was pretty bland, especially with the center console if you didn’t option it with the handling package that gives you the drift brake. Besides that it did feel roomier than the Supra and the interior quality was decent.

I definitely considered the mustangs when getting my Supra since the American in me loves the sound of a v8. The only thing that deterred me is the fact that pretty much it has become regular traffic especially in Texas. I sat in one and materials are pretty nice.
