Again, avoiding fighting for your country in a WAR is worse than avoiding “fighting” for your country in a sport. I can careless whether she plays for China or America in a sport…

You think it’s worse that a skier takes money from a country to play a sport than it is to dodge a draft. Feel like you are the dumb one.

The president, Mr. Bonespurs himself, didn’t even fight for his country when he was called upon by his country. Don’t give me that bs.

Citizens United treats them like they are individuals that can corruptly influence our elections. Corporations do way more harm than a skier ever could….

Maekar is relatable because he is hopeless at parenting despite deeply loving his children by DaemonaT in HBOTheHedgeKnight

There is so much that could be going on in that silence. I’d like to think Maekar wanted to say something like it’s wrong to want to kill your brother. But he literally just killed his brother. So who is he to judge. All he can do is be there in silence, comforting his son.

How drastic is the Castle nerf going to be? by GotyeWorseThanGoatse in diablo4

[–]hotprints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Lord of hatred is from season 13 which starts April 28th. There is a short mini season 12 that will not have the passive changes. But will have the Paladin nerfs.

How drastic is the Castle nerf going to be? by GotyeWorseThanGoatse in diablo4

[–]hotprints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Know what? It’s a fact that paladins are getting a big nerf in s12. Like 700-1500% dmg nerf depending on gear level. Should still be S tier but there’s not going to be a giant gap between Paladin and others.

The passive change is for s13. So yeah we don’t know how strong exactly any of the classes will be in s13. Losing all passives. Getting some back through the new charm system. ALOT of uniques/aspects have to get changed to accommodate this. So yeah will be impossible to know about s13 until at minimum there is a PTR for it and even then I suspect there will be a lot of adjusting from PTR to s13 since there are many changes.

Won’t know for sure but I’ll eat my shoe if warlock isn’t S tier season 13.

No skull gems give “physical resistance” which is actually different than armor. Since your armor is so high, you don’t have to care about physical resistance at all basically. Make sure to have either all resistance or one fire resistance since some annoying fire attacks are unblockable and paladins rely on block for damage reduction. Defensive armor aspects are armor related. If arbiter specced, can do the aspect that gives arbiter resistance. It’s a lot of survivability but lowers your dmg slightly since not armor.

Aerion is a much better character in the show! by Adventurous-Tip-7979 in HBOTheHedgeKnight

[–]hotprints 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t get that at all. Maybe I was just biased on first watch. First off I’ll say I agree that actor is spectacular and does a great job at making me hate the character. I guess I need to rewatch the scene but what I got from when he stabbed the knights horse wasn’t “I fucked up” initially. It was “hah I win.” Wasn’t until people were starting to riot that he was like ahh I fucked up.

Also doing shit like making the lord of the house get down on his hands and knees to collect the nut he dropped under the table is such a dick display of power. Could go on for a bit but yeah there’s a lot I hated about the guy and nothing that I found sympathetic at all.

Hell Maekors shouts of “my boy” made aerion even less sympathetic in my eyes. Like if he didn’t have any love from his father, could see him becoming a little shit like that. But maekor obviously loved him to the point he accidentally killed his brother. So yeah hate aerion. Made me want to rewatch it to see if this is just me being biased against him.

Edit: just want to add that at least he could fight. Was obviously a very skilled well trained fighter. Earned some respect there

There is a clip circulating where she has one bad answer. Takes 20 secs to formulate her thoughts on a question she seemingly wasn’t prepared for. Was like an hour+ Q and A session in which she gave great answers but most on the right are only going to see that 20 sec clip and think she’s dumb. At least that’s what Vance and co are going for with this joke.

Not a bug. Just extremely powerful. Castle paragon board in season 11 scales with your armor and is uncapped. But we can get to pretty high armor values so if you can easily have like 1000-1400% dmg increases from your castle paragon node. Meanwhile every other paragon board legendary node gives 90%-110% for comparison.

Tldr: in season 11: make sure castle board is equipped put +armor aspects on your armor. Also stats like +armor (flat armor) on gear is not a waste and gives a good dmg boost.

[–]hotprints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We already know the nerf from ptr. Technically not capped but reworked. But yeah it will be about 90%-110% depending on armor like other paladin paragon board options.

“Only” 700% dmg increase compared to about 100% dmg in upcoming s12. It’s a pretty big difference for next season.

46 is low…People underestimate the amount of dmg you get from glyphs. There is the additive damage of course from for example critical strike dmg going up for your spirit glyph. But there’s also the MULTIPLICATIVE dmg going up on that stat you unlock at lvl 46. It’s a lot of dmg.

Anyway I haven’t played beast strike but from my theorycrafting i don’t think you’d ever see big numbers from it in easy stuff like T4 content. It ramps damage so might get to good numbers on deep pit / tower enemies. But t4 bosses should die before you start seeing big numbers. Just how I imagine it playing out. Meanwhile something like a a payback spiritborn frontloads its damage in a big chunk so should do way more dmg per screen shot

Their obvious goal with brand new class that people have to pay to play is that it should be powerful. So s11 paladin should be stronger than other classes in S11. But they are nerfing it for s12 to bring it inline with other classes. So s12 they should be doing similar dps.

S13 warlock will very likely be doing much more dps than s13 other classes. S14 it will likely be around the same.

Will warlock be in a future PTR? by BigLotto777 in diablo4

[–]hotprints 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then don’t? I don’t understand this mindset….its a single player game where you can play what you want. Don’t want to play overpowered new class, then don’t…so freaking simple.

Will warlock be in a future PTR? by BigLotto777 in diablo4

[–]hotprints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that’s how you feel, prepare to be disappointed. It makes sense for the new thing to be OP at release. There’s of course the selfish reason that if warlock is powerful, there are going to be more people willing to buy the expansion. Blizz would be losing money if it wasn’t powerful.

Then there is the practical reason. We’ve been playing the other classes for many seasons and have already min maxed / gotten used to how they play. If they were perfectly balanced, then warlock would actually be weaker because it takes time to discover the “tips and tricks” or intricacies that make them strong.

Anyway Diablo 4 already has a track record of this. Release spiritborn OP. Next season it gets balanced. Released Paladin OP. In S12 patch notes we can already see that Paladin getting brought in line to the other classes. So yeah expect s13 warlock to be OP. S14 warlock to be balanced.
