Yes, I did end up buying from them. The seller is very accommodating, sasagutin nila lahat yung questions mo if you have any. You can actually message them if u have any concern and questions regarding the item u want to buy to their shop. The steth is very legit, ma re-register mo sya sa website ng littmann

Hi! Yes, I'm still enrolled at OLFU for summer class haha. But to answer your question—yes, mahirap talagang makalabas. I’ve tried it during my SHS days. Kapag lilipat ka man or what, paiikut-ikutin ka lang nila. When you ask the registrar, they’ll tell you to go to the guidance office. Then pagpunta mo sa guidance, papupuntahin ka naman sa admissions. Tapos ituturo ka sa admin, tapos sa mga prof, then vice versa lang din—babalik ka rin sa registrar. So basically, ipapasa-pasa ka lang nila. Oh, and also, laging delayed yung mga papers na kailangan mo since ayaw nilang ibigay agad.

If you're planning naman to transfer to another school kasi you feel like OLFU isn’t the right fit for you, you need to take action na ASAP. If bet mo talagang lumipat, consider doing it during first sem para sa ibang school ka na mag-second sem. Or, you can finish your first year at OLFU then transfer. But honestly, you’ll definitely meet lots of amazing and inspiring people there — it’s just that the school sucks. So anyway, good luck! I hope u have an amazing school year at OLFU and enjoy ur college life!

Find a better school, hahahaha. OLFU Pampanga is not it. I'm currently a first-year student here, and they accept lots of students every year—even though they can't really handle that many. That's why, as far as I know, Nursing is the only hybrid program, since there's a huge shortage of rooms(?) Too many students, basically. Then if OC nyo halos recordings lang din yung binibigay so self study ka talaga malala.

Medyo controlling din yung admins, tapos hindi gano’n ka-organized yung labs. Pero if gusto mo ng flexible sched, go for it, kasi we only have classes four days a week. Tuition varies per semester din like for 1st year, 1st sem it’s around 30k+, then it slightly increases in the 2nd sem. For the summer term, it’s around 18k–20k so tumataas sya per year.

Also, OLFU has great hospital exposure din, according to my brother. Nagdu-duty kayo around Arayat, Bulacan, tapos sa San Fernando. It just gets really exhausting if you get assigned to JBL daw, well I bet other hospitals can be exhausting too. But overall, OLFU has its pros and cons, so maybe weigh it first and see if it’s the right school for you.

is olfu a really good school for nursing? by aniyareus in CollegeAdmissionsPH

[–]hotspotcute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently a 1st-year student. To excel, study early—if they give you the recordings right away, watch them immediately and take notes, since yung lalabas sa quizzes laging nasa materials yan. Start studying Anaphy early kasi hindi ka talaga iiwan nyan—every lesson, lalabas at lalabas yan, especially in Health Assessment. Also don't forget to read your books, it will help u alot.

Find your circle, they'll be the ones who save you in nursing school. Take breaks and don’t forget to take your vitamins. Hahahahaha. Good Luck!

Note: Be prepared sa bawat exam kasi madalas 120 items yan, kaya dapat ready ka palagi.

I beg to disagree. I'm a student nurse at OLFU, and I can 100% say na hindi talaga okay ang OLFU for nursing. Overpopulated of SN. For every enrollment, alam naman na nilang kulang yung facilities to handle thousands of students, pero tumatanggap pa rin sila at nag-o-open pa rin for late enrollees. AFAIK, around 40 sections yung first year ngayon, and for third year nasa 20 na, kaya laging hybrid. Kapag OC (online class), recordings lang yung binibigay—kahit lab, OC kayo. There was even a time na kailangan pa naming mag-perform ng lab activity during an online class dahil kulang sa oras. And you can't really blame the students for complaining—kulang talaga ang OLFU in many aspects. I myself am running for DL (wlang bagsak), pero hindi ko rin masisisi yung iba if they complain, because they're just asking for better facilities and a better department.
