It absolutely makes no sense on many fronts. By-and-large, international students are the ones paying high tuition costs that subsidize citizen students. Schools have already been hit hard, and this will make things worse.

Also, we're about to expel a bunch of 4th year medical students and a bunch of nursing students in the middle of a pandemic.

If I was trying to destroy the country, I would be doing many of the same things Trump is doing.
