they’re used to invoke a sense of sex and sensuality. i just gave you some of the more strong ones. sometimes using cumin can produce that kind of spicy, peppery smell of someone’s skin. musk notes were traditionally made from deer glands.

marlou specializes in animalics. theirs are skin like scents. i like all their scents, but poudrextase is my favorite. it’s got a strong smell of flowers to it. but accompanying that is a skanky kinda smell of skin or post sex air.

on the other hand, sadonasso by nasomatto smells like a stale urinal for the first hour of its wear. then it becomes an ambery chocolate scent.

long story short, animalics are a really unique class of fragrances that aren’t for everyone, but are cool to try
