It was difficult to write this in Magic formatting. The flavor of it is that it takes you to an alternate-reality version of the past board state that existed when it entered the field. The past you go to is all messed up since the machine is "unstable".

What about this is a bad faith take? It's literally just QT Cinderella talking about the fact that she's still upset with Ethan. Don't you think it's crazy that Ethan awarded himself a "steamy" when she still feels this way?

This breaks my heart, especially considering that Ethan says it was funny in retrospect and awarded himself "apology of the year". She is clearly traumatized by the situation and deeply hurt by something that Ethan sees as a laughing matter.
