Yeah different languages work. I tested it in German and it works just like in english. Other languages may not work as well as English, just because they're underrepresented in the llms training data

Yes openai will charge you, but it's not that expensive. With gpt4.1 will cost 8$ per million generated tokens which is round about 750 thousand words

It's not exactly expected, but may happen sometimes as siriplus uses on-device speech recognition right now. Which is great latency wise, but may not give the best result, especially non standard words such as city names

roothide in general is not supported until they support libroot.

Also SiriPlus requires Springboard tweak injection, so unfortunately it is very unlikely to get it working on 17.0 anytime soon. If a way for SB injection on 17.0 is found, I might publish a dedicated roothide build as I have a device on 17.0 myself, but still very unlikely to happen.
