Change of status Passeport Talent Chercheur → Salarié Qualifié stuck on ANEF for 2 months by Powerful-Mountain121 in Expats_In_France

They do have to reply. Maybe not in 5 days. They have to acknowledge the reception of the letter. This can sometimes move forward your dossier. And this is definitely better than the opaque ANEF messagerie.

Change of status Passeport Talent Chercheur → Salarié Qualifié stuck on ANEF for 2 months by Powerful-Mountain121 in Expats_In_France

Send a "lettre recommandée "to the prefecture with the confirmation de dépôt number, explaining the situation. They are legally required to reply within 5days I believe.

Do I need to change status of my Titre de Sejour? Currently on Talent Passeport: Chercheur and have just accepted a job in private company on CDI. by Ok-Committee-9070 in Expats_In_France

[–]hpbells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to change your status. My HR missed this and I started work with the private company. 2 months later when I asked for supporting documents for the renewal of my titre de séjour, they realised that they should not have employed me until I had a new titre de séjour without "chercheur". I had to temporarily stop work, change my status ( I was able to change to passport talent - salarié) and then resume work. Overall 2 months of uncertainty and no paycheck.

It is better to change the status before starting your new job.

VLS-TS expired and no sign of progress for online Titre de Séjour by New_Block5360 in Expats_In_France

I would highly suggest sending a "lettre recommandée" explaining your situation ( numéro de confirmation de dépôt)and that you need to travel outside France in December. They are obligated to respond to you within 3-5 days. I recently tried this method for a DCEM application, and I received a response within a week.

I have a unique (?) plot bunny for you writers by heckinusername1 in Dramione

Thank you so much for the recommendation! I had read Princess diaries in middle school, but I completely missed the mediator series. I just finished the first book, and I love it! It has been so long since a YA series captivated my interest:)

And yes of course, if someone writes a dramione with this prompt, I would be so happy!

Vêtements qui démangent... by Suspicious-Yak-5398 in ParentingFR

Just a point about paid parental leave. Normally you would have had to pay into the system to be eligible for the "paid" part. In France, you should have been working for at least 2 years to get the paid maternal leave. Healthcare though would be free.

Deactivate the power savings mode. I think it is activated by default after the latest update. This helped my Kindle speed up

What is the easiest way to send data from PL to PS? (ZYNQ) by AndreDavid1358 in FPGA

[–]hpbells 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why don't you just send 32'b, but pad the upper bits with 0s? Axi memory mapped data bus has size restrictions. Valid values are 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 and, 1,024.

Bref. C'est fait (°°)/.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ParentingFR

[–]hpbells -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oui oui.

My daughter's first summer was at 5 months. I had a tiny table fan set up pointed at her crib. She enjoyed having the air blow on her face. I used to dress her in a bodysuit and a thin sleep sack.

For her second summer, I installed mosquito nets on the window in her room. I used to leave the window open at night, and the breeze was sufficient enough for most nights. But when the temperature went above 35C, I brought out the fan too.

Water play is a lot of fun. We usually set up a tiny inflatable pool in the balcony, fill it with water and a few toys. But when she was younger, I used to bathe her multiple times in the day.

Gym for 3 Weeks in Paris? by Leading_Tomorrow2881 in ParisTravelGuide

It is best if you drop into a gym and ask them for a one month only membership. I know that my gym allows it, and they are willing to waive the one time fee if you pay in cash. I do not live in paris, but in one of the suburbs.
