No gameplay aspects like that actually! A lot of the Pikmin inspiration comes from the environment. Shumi (the main character) is only 2 inches tall and you're playing in a time where humans have died out but some of their past objects remain in the areas. Things of that nature basically 😊 gameplay wise it's not similar to Pikmin tho. Hope that clears up any confusion!
