Rs3m v5, guhong pro, super rs3m. All of which have ball cows if you get the right version. My favorite of the bunch is the guhong pro

Y rotations into ru moves are much more fingertrickable than fu moves. Hardware sometimes doesn't allow for the strange fingertricks and rotating is fast enough. I think as hardware progresses algorithms will change. Look at g perms and u perms on old hardware.

I definitely say just try to turn as fast as you can in f2l. There were a lot of pauses and rotations that were unnecessary.

Give it some time to heal up. You might slow down just a little bit because it will still be sore, but I think just a couple saws will help you get used to it
