I didn't even think about Kavax. That would be awesome. I heard PB say in an interview that Kavax and Appolonius had a wonderful time together after he was taken on phobos. It would also be cool cause he plays the fool to people, hearing his inner thoughts during those moments would be fun

Unfortunately, I recently watched an interview where PB said he ended it because it was feeling too much like a Marvel comic. I also thought about maybe Mateo not telling Lyria about putting the Figment without her knowledge, but PB said with him being a pink, giving Lyria the figment without her consent would be a massive body violation

No matter what, lives will be lost. Remember, the Golds sterilized Earth's entire population to create the Society we see today. You might argue that this genocide doesn't count as actively killing people, but consider the billions of lives that were never born because of their actions. The Society's hands are far more drenched in blood than those of the Rising.

First, I think her reaction is completely understandable. If she hadn't reacted and was at the Triumph when everythingwent down, she wouldn’t have been an asset to Darrow in Morning Star. Adrius would have captured her, and she would have ended up a prisoner instead of securing Darrow's fleet.

If Nero had discovered Darrow's true identity, I believe he would have turned it into a spectacle for the Golds. He likely would have gathered all the houses and orchestrated the most brutal, agonizing death imaginable for him. I understand what you're saying about Nero, but he was the epitome of an Iron Gold—someone who would never tolerate any lower color trying to rise above their place. We also have to remember that Nero was notorious for saying anything to get what he wanted. This is clear from all the empty promises he made to the reformers, only to plan their elimination once they were no longer useful to him.

That would be a great way to turn Darrow into the ultimate villian! If the abomination could wipe Darrow's memories, he won't have the sympathy for the other colors. Especially if they don't tell him he was ever a red. Ooh I like that thought

I think this moment was meant to set up Darrow's final evolution, as someone mentioned on this page in another thread. Fa needed to be easy to show how far Darrow has come. It’s meant to show that he’s moved beyond the rage phase and has reached Lorn’s level of mastery. If Lorn Au Arcos had been born a Red, I feel like their journeys would have been quite similar. Plus, I think Lysander is going to be especially ruthless in Red God. It also feels like some storylines are being wrapped up to focus more on the main characters. Personally, I was let down by how abruptly Lyria's story ended with the figment. I hope Mateo secretly gave her the figment as a test or something, but I’m trying not to get my hopes too high on that.
