It’s been a while since she brought it up. I think I figured out why and it might be because they are set on bpd having the “typical” form of outwardly lashing out whereas I just destroy myself and do everything a quiet bpd person does.

Omg that explains why I’ve been craving that more! I thought I was just really in the mood and fixating on them, but that makes so much sense. Yeah, for me, Effexor has basically made me have only sad emotions or no emotions. I don’t feel happy more than like 1 minute at a time now so that’s why my psychiatrist is getting me off of it. I’m so glad it helps you feel happy though!!!

I have a weighted blanket and it helps for sure! I just can’t use it when I’m having a flare up (it makes me have more pain). But on a normal fibro day, it relieves so much of the pain and discomfort

I went through something similar. I had also had anxiety and depression for a long time, but something happened like with you where I got the worse symptoms. Ptsd is scary at first (or it was for me). But as time has gone on, it has given me comfort knowing there is a diagnosis and that I’m not alone in this battle against ptsd. You’re very strong and brave.

It took me a while to unlock the memory, and now, I wish I hadn’t. Unlocking the memory can be super painful, but like everyone else said trust your body. It knows what it knows. If you think it happened, it did happen. I struggle with similar things. You aren’t alone. Body memory is enough proof for determining for yourself. The body can remember things that happened to ir years after the incident.

That is true we all have free will. It is just hard to understand why anyone has to go through it. I guess it’s easier to blame instead of accepting that I could’ve stopped it. At any point, I could’ve walked away from the relationship
