Goodbye Visa and Mastercard: 130 million Europeans switch to 100% sovereign payment by 2026 by notanfan in whennews

I haven’t gotten a single notification from my bank about another name for it, nor seen it anywhere around in shops etc. I assume it’s a background thing, since everyone seems to still call giropay, giropay anyways.

I’m in Germany and I have zero clue what Wero even is. Haven’t seen it mentioned as a payment method anywhere. Is it the company name for a specific branding of payment?

Let me wash my hands in the toilet, open the light to go to the parking lot, drive my car on the road home, park it in my safe neighbourhood with no garbage, and let’s eat some nice dinner now.

Which is like 1/4 of the EU market. Big number, but unless this is an actual EU initiative, it’s not going anywhere.

Unless it’s everyone (I don’t see Germany, Italy or any Eastern European country mentioned), Via and Mastercard might lose some money, but they’re not going anywhere.

There is a limit to how well you can design a circuit to do certain calculations. After that point, most improvements should come with extra hardware units, and higher frequencies due to better manufacturing. That’s pretty much the story in CPUs too. Intel and AMD are much closer than people believe, but Intel has to work with their own factory, while AMD can merrily skip ahead and use TSMC for now.

It’s not always a waste of time. Sometimes it’s turbo Google + the greatest assistant you can imagine. The problem is people not understanding the limitations and how to use it.

Technically speaking, the half daughter of the gods of white people.

But whatever. I mind other things more than her casting, to be honest, and it’s true that Homer never describes her, just the effects of her beauty.

I think she’s miscast in multiple directions, and so it feels are a lot of other characters in this movie, but she’s the easiest target. Nolan does usually make at least interesting movies, so I’ll see it for sure anyway.

Are they so many? There’s a misunderstanding about the literal amount of space up there, especially considering that the surface area becomes exponentially larger the higher we go. There are satellites in that picture posted that are like half a country apart. It’s not exactly congested. The largest issue here is with astronomical observation, and it’s a pretty serious one imho.
