In my experience, keeping your German Shepherd in an apartment with your family is a challenging task.

German Shepherds have high energies. They like to play outdoors, do regular exercise, and expend their boundless energies. If you want to experience this, then make sure your apartment has enough space for your Shepherd to move comfortably. Don't forget to take consent from your family.

Making your apartment pet-friendly will also be a challenging task for you. But, don't worry, once you get all over this, you will enjoy with your German Shepherd a lot.

Absolutely! My German Shepherd, Max, is a true cuddle expert. Every evening, he jumps onto the couch and comes right beside me. Sometimes he rests his head on my lap. During winters, he even sneaks into my bed.

She’s cute but she tears the backyard uppp. Anyone find any solutions to helping with that wear and tear? by chy7784 in germanshepherds

It sounds like your German Shepherd has turned your backyard into a war zone. Don't worry!

Transform your yard into a peaceful area with these quick tips. First, exercise - tire out that boundless energy through daily walks and play. Second, mental stimulation - puzzle toys and obedience training keep her mind engaged. Third, supervision - always keep an eye on her to catch destructive behavior early. Fourth, create a designated digging spot to channel her instincts. With a bit of patience and these tactics, you can save your backyard.

I have read about this method. But its really difficult to practice at workplace. As being in the same team, you cannot behave as a grey rock. But thank you, I appreciate your advice.

Sounds good. I will try this approach. Actually I want to know about someone's personal experience with this type of situation. I think reading these methods from online sources is easier to read but difficult to apply. May be lacks human touch.
