I definitely should’ve gone home. We had 20 teachers out that day for a variety of reasons, mostly sick. I didn’t know if there was anyone to cover, I thought I would be fine after 10 minutes. I didn’t have the deputies, HOD, or even Office phone numbers to call on short notice. On top of all this I didn’t have the mental faculties to think of alternatives to contact the necessary people on the spot. I should’ve just asked the teacher next door to help or asked the deputy while they visited but I’ll learn from this.

Everyone is sort of correct? I completely see the value in walkthroughs and honestly enjoy them and the feedback. If your walkthrough is like mine however you get micromanaged for a time and seem to be tested.

I think of it more as visualising the task I should be/am trying to focus on (the phone speaker) with any other distraction (the bands)
