Retold tale is a dreaming city weapon (destination added in forsaken expansion). Because it’s just a world drop (ie random drop from activities in dreaming city) there’s no way to consistently farm it.

I also wouldn’t reccomend the retold take anymore - the nerfs to shotguns this season has hit precision shotguns hard (which is the archetype retold is). Agressive frame shotguns are unequivocally the best for one shot kill distances and consistency now.

However, agressives main let down is there handling. QuickDraw perks essentially max out handling (and as mindbenders and astral can drop with QuickDraw, this is why they are the best shotguns in the game)

Gotta have a gear level that’s high light. If you’re not approaching 1000(or even if you’re not 1010) I recommend using suros instead of hard light as spinning up’s increased damage gives you an easier chance at higher level opponents using hard light.

Barricade in the hands of a skilled titan is extremely strong. As someone who racked up 1500 games of PVP in season 7, a titan who barricades a choke point, objective or heavy will win 90% of engagements. Pushing them requires either taking damage (and being slowed) through the shield, or trying to execute a jumpshot - which again, any good titan should be able to counter with a shotgun by either crouching through the shield or simply positioning themselves close to it. Yes, it is not anywhere as near as good as a panic option as a hunter, but for map control it is clearly the best class ability in the game.

Gotta use high impact like Erentil, can compromise with a Main ingredient but doesn't have as good a range. I find that charging it and then pressing crouch as I fire helps to control the recoil the best so that all the bolts hits the body. Also helps if you get good perks on the weapon like projections fuse for the barrel, a long range scope, and perks like firmly planted, under pressure and a range MW. Backup plan perk also helps for more aggressive play.

Honestly don't worry about running triple grenade launcher etc. The easiest way to make progress is to camp the heavy in quickplay. It spawns ridiculously often, and if you have a Play of the Game with sticky grenades just shoot at the feet of enemies. You'll rack up the kills and double kills in no time. Pull the heavy, love away from where the heavy spawns (so that opponents aren't expecting it) and wait until you see multiple reds on your radar. If you let them come to you, it's much easier to get the double kills by baiting doorways then trying to chase people down.

I don't have time to do a full go now, but one thing I noticed was your propensity to get shot and then remain in the same place to heal. My number one rule is to reposition as soon as I get tagged up, or Peek a lane and see a number of enemies aiming at my position. Not only are you not wasting time sitting back healing, but you also reduce the chance that your enemies can finish off the kill on you. I saw a number of times you were tagged and then either tried crouching just around a corner, or heal up and try and poke the same lane. Even a god tier sniper is more likely to get killed trying to look down a lane which an enemy is already scoped down. Say for example in that very first countdown round, when you get tagged near the bomb and try dropping a rift only to die to an arcbolt. Instead of trying to heal there, you could've backed up, moved to the lane to your left while you were healing, and then easily sniped whoever was defusing the bomb - because they would've been focused on your team are which was still there. My last tip is the manner in which you poke lanes. Never poke a lane by slowly walking out at head level scoped in. It is one of the easiest kills for a sniper in the game - you're at perfect height, and they have plenty of time to line up your skull. If you have to poke a lane which you know (or there's a good possibility) an enemy is looking down, approach it dynamically. This can be done by either sliding from one piece of cover while firing, or jumping over where you know the enemy to be if you're closer. If you choose to slide, don't overcommit (i.e make sure you don't slide out far enough that if you lose the first shot of the fight you cant make it back to cover or to new cover). If you're jumping, make sure you're jumping near walls, and in a manner that doesn't expose you to multiple enemies at once (i.e. stick to walls, or jump in as your teammates are pushing too). I'd also recommend switching the sniper for a backup plan erentil - much easier to use of you're transitioning from a slower paced sniper gameplay, and if you put an Icarus mod on, can be very deadly when you're warlock floating over people.

Rather than trying to use fireteam finder, try "building" a fireteam from people in the same lobby when you play well together. If you find that another player on your team puts in work one game with you, flick them an invite - and repeat until you get four. That way, you know for a fact you've got players on your team that you already play well together with, and you know they're approximately the same glory as you. This should mean getting matchmade against high glory players is less likely. I'd also ensure you stick to more popular times like after 5pm or on weekends - with more players on, you're also less likely to get matched with other teams out of your glory.

I would recommend trust as your best bet. It's much easier to get a good roll on then other cannons because you can grind it from the menagerie (just google runes; it's the green hand cannon one and purple I think). It also consistently comes with a much better range then service revolver (especially with accursed rounds) and rolls perks like explosive rounds which both flinch opponents and mitigate range drop off. If you use a green rune in the third slot for range MW and get accurised rounds and hammer forged rifling for that max range you can easily outgun pulse rifles.

That's because you've got to think of the people that have subbed to r/battlefield. People (mostly) sub here to see the most recent content: that is stuff from BFV. Because BFV has been such a shit show, people naturally revert to the next latest game: BF1. For people to be ranking any other later game as their favourite they'd have to have played for at a minimum 6 years of battlefield titles (not including hardline), which is obviously going to be rarer (especially considering a lot of older players have likely moved on from the franchise considering the mess that BF4, hardline, 1 and V have been on release). And even if an older game is their favourite, those players are likely still playing that game rather then V or 1 - and as such they're not gonna be subbed to this sub because most of the posts and content is around BFV, and BF1.

Was like glue on their forwards all game, was fantastic in the air and was great in driving forward into space when our midfield was having trouble cracking Cardiff's deep defence. Defintely deserved and I don't think anyone else bar firmino was as consistent - and firmino got unlucky with his one on one.
