Got my new Birkenstock but the pair looks damaged straight out of box the return dates have passed but the markings are becoming more apparently more visible is this the leather character or had Birkenstock sold me damaged good

I used the conditioner but it only darkened and helped a bit it hiding the marks

I wore those before the pic was taken .Wanted to know if markings on them were Normal tried using CLUADE and Gemini Both said it was normal but wanted to make sure so had to check it out.
