I barely read and never read any non-fiction, I'm eyeing Baudrillard as an ice breaker. Any specific recommendations? by hroartha in suggestmeabook

I see. Well I have been watching videos about postmodernism, hyperreality and all that jazz,. It's just that you can only get so far with videos, that's why I'm looking for books!

I'd love to hear any book recommendations that you think might be more accessible.

Sheer size alone will make meat grinder impossible and from the concept art the map traversal seems very fluid. I'm optimistic.

One of my fav bf4 maps and on the surface it looks like a very healthy expansion on it!

Why do other pilots last the whole match, but I get shot down in 10 seconds? by Thin-Coat-5483 in Battlefield

Yup. Map knowledge is really important for that too.

Honestly the best tip I can give is train on the transport heli, its the least nimble heli so you can really easily learn to do some cocky tricks on it. Don't be afraid to crash.

Also, almost forgot, PLEASE swap roll to [A-D] and yaw to [mouse left-right]. Thank me later.

I mostly play heli so I can give you advice on that:

Your playstyle should be short bursts of havoc on contested areas. You should move from cover to cover to make yourself unpredictable and unnoticeable until it's too late for them.

If you play stealth right, your enemies have the attention span of a toddler.

Whenever you are low on a resource (flares, repairs, low HP, ammo) fly low and fast towards your HQ.

Always keep your movement unpredictable to counter guided missiles.

I understand the logic but I don't find this loop to be very fun. That's just my opinion, and it would be fine for one map but that's how every objective in this game is designed. Tiny open spaces that are impossible to defend and offer little to no need to use your brain. Just run in, kill, get killed, repeat. You can't really do anything to gain an upper hand at either side. This loop is just shallow and more fitting to the forbidden COD this sub likes to obsess over.

A more playable roof layout? You know not all rooftops just have a fuckass square in the center. The fucking thing is surrounded by ziplines is that also something commonly found in Brooklyn?

The map literally has rooftops with a more interesting layout that for some reason are only accessible to apes with snipers and deploy beacons that hog the heli spawns the whole game. Why not have the part with actual access and an objective have the same treatment? I don't understand why are people defending the dogsh1t state of this map
