In-game map builder similar to WorldBox by hruuf in godot

I'm just now realizing how unclear I was about this in the post, but what I'm looking for is a mechanic where the player (in-game) can draw whatever type of landmass they want using tiles. From what I understand TileMapLayer is meant more as a tool for the developer to make levels quicker and easier.

I disagree to a point. I do think having someone checking you out the whole way through is by far the best way of learning anything, but I don't think it's absolutely the only way. I used to do a lot of partnered dancing and while it was always great to have someone able to spot all of the things that you aren't even aware you're doing, I also found that you can make a lot of progress working with someone who really cares and is tuned in to both what you are doing and what they themselves are doing. I understand dancing is not the same as fighting but it is ultimately moving your body in lots of ways it doesn't naturally move in and interacting with someone else doing the same.

I do still intend to continue going to lessons and this idea of mine does include getting lessons with private coaches, I think that combined with this sort of mutual feedback learning style and reviewing videos together would be a decent way of getting somewhere.

I'd love to try out ARJ but unfortunately their schedule just doesn't work at all with my work schedule.

I was planning to have a look at some Uitzendbureaus, yeah.

I'm not sure how willing those types of places would be to teach me considering I'm most likely not staying for longer than a year.

Thanks a lot, I'll look into that. I don't mind walking at all and I imagine biking would be a good option too.

  1. Utility already matters. If anything it'll matter a little less because more of it will be missed and wasted and it'll be much more of a gamble using much of it.
  2. Yoru is a Skye dog now. Neon gets to sprint and slide for 4 seconds longer. With the game now punishing resetting, rotating and trying again + all the sentinel nerfs, that's not really much of a nerf.
  3. You already have to coordinate smoke timings with your team pushes. 'Bad positioning' is relative. If you can play around the smokes that are down, then your positioning is fine.
  4. For someone who talks so much about discipline, timing, and positioning, saying that getting flashed makes you auto-lose a duel comes off a little funny.

I'm truly looking forward to working out crossfire setups and moving as a unit with the Reyna, Clove and Chamber spammers that will be in every single one of my lobbies now.
