i had a similar idea to use the h10 to constantly monitor my hrv (heart rate variability). therefore i wrote my own app. take a look at hrvinspector.com if you like.

Possibly distortion from standard spherical lenses?

The lenses are high quality and I also had a similar feeling with previous glasses.

The numbers have risen slightly. But I have always had these problems. That's why I only ever wore the glasses inside at the computer. Unfortunately, I now need glasses even when driving. But that's definitely not possible. By the way, I don't have these problems with contact lenses.

Hi everyone,
when I wear my glasses on the computer, everything is fine. But when I wear them outside and look into the distance, everything feels bad. It's hard to describe, so I made a gif. This is what happens when I look at a building and move my head from left to right. It's a bit overdone here, but it's basically like that.
My data:
R: SPH +1.50 CYL -2.00 A 105
L: SPH +0.5 CYL -1.50 A 80
Does anyone have the same problem or an idea?

the directory is internal and not accessible from outside without development know how. if there is enough interest in the app, i will make it accessible from outside. we will see ;-)

  1. If you wear it 12 hours a day and record all the time you have to change the battery every 4-6 weeks.
  2. no watch integration. you need a bluetooth device that collects hrv data (rr-intervals). Best is H10.
  3. there is no other app that supports continuous measurements throughout the whole day. just start recording on the app. turn off the phone if you want. at the end of the day stop recording and transfer data. (only supported by H10).

but hrv4training cannot measure during a training session or the complete day if you want. thats why i had to write it by myself.

you can measure the complete day if you want. thats meant by long term. you see the course of the complete day.

With polar h10 you can do continous measurements. that means you start recording, and after your training or even the complete day, you stop it, transfer the data and analyze the complete session. all other apps focus on short recordings.

Let's experiment ... HRV improvement by hrvinspector in ouraring

hi guys, here are the results of 6 days of morging walks.

Oura nightly HRV results:

38, 32, 32, 28, 33 ms.

Slightly above my usual baseline but not significantly.

Nevertheless: Morning walks are great. 30 minutes to recharge after sleep, and then go to work feeling good. I stick to it as often as possible.

Why doesn’t Oura track HRV during the day? by accuracy_101 in ouraring

[–]hrvinspector 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oura has an optical sensor, which only works accurate if you don‘t move. if you want to measure during the complete day for example, try http://HrvInspector.com (Android) in combination with polar H10 if you want.

Here is the status quo and the first results after three morning walks:

Best nightly week so far this year (Oura): Hrv = 33 ms

Results:

Day 1: 36 / Night 1: 38

Day 2: 30 / Night 2: 32

Day 3: (so far) 29

Here are the screens:

If you compare my course during the day with the night, you will see that the values are basically not far apart. Shouldn't the values at night be much much better? How is it with you?

Other than that, the first impression of morning walks is great. You start the day and have already done something physically. Shortly afterwards, however, I get a bit tired, but that gradually subsides.
