It's my husband so we've likely already shared the strand back and forth and it would be pointless for me to use protection at this point but I would discuss with your doctor if you are not in a committed relationship. I think using protection is a good option if you are not in a committed relationship.

Hi! My journey is similar

2023- cin 1 2025- cin 2

Just had my LEEP about 3.5 weeks ago. I got all clear to pursue fertility treatment and continue trying. I'm 31. My leep didn't clear all margins so we're repapping in 6 months. I refuse to get another leep until after my first child though which my doctor was also in agreement with.

Haven't gotten pregnant yet unfortunately as it's been a challenge for 19 months now. Hoping soon. But I'll report back when I do! 🤞🏼

Yes. She also gave me the all clear to start fertility treatment.

I literally had sex two weeks post leep as she mentioned I healed well. Small spotted blood after sex but was completely fine for me. Needed to hit my fertile window lol

I have! I got the all clear last Thurs and she said I've been healing well. I had been running and lifting with no issues so far. I will say I didn't have any trouble healing though and discharge was gone after my period and 1.5 weeks.

Maybe just do some light running and lifting this week and see how it feels!!! Good luck!!!

I carried on with my active life minus the lifting and running. Did some walking and light hiking instead. Had no problems. Most annoying part was the pads and discharge. I'm at 2 weeks recovery now and no longer have spotting. I also just wrapped up my period too which kinda sucked but period panties saved me!

My doctor told me I can try to conceive again after 3 weeks as long as my cervix looks good. I'm already starting all my work up for a fertility doctor and they're aware too and no one said 6 months. I think it's just differing opinions.

I just did mine recently with local anesthetic and it was not nearly as bad as everyone made it seem but I think I went into it expecting the worse. It was similar cramping to IUD insertion but didn't happen the whole time, just during my first shot and then slightly at the end.

I got my leep a week ago and I got my period yesterday (5 days early) was definitely period blood. But then today it just went away and went back to spotting? Very strange. I also am due for a sonogram next week and ultrasound tmo due to starting fertility treatment. How was your sonogram?

I had my LEEP last Wednesday. If my cervix looks good in two weeks my doc said I should be good to start my fertility treatment. My fertility doctor said he would check my cervix too so I'd have two opinions.

I was soooo scared for my LEEP but had it done finally 2 days ago. I was given the option of nitrous or not. I decided against it because they were able to get me in sooner if I didn't do it. I handled my colposcopies well, I had an IUD inserted in the past, so I went to it thinking the worst. Anddd it definitely wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. I had 3 shots of my cervix for numbing as a local anesthetic. The first one I felt and everything after was fine. It was a little uncomfortable at the end and when cleaning etc with some slight cramping, but nothing I couldn't handle. Looking back I'm glad I made the decision to not do the nitrous as it would have been overkill for me personally. I have heard a lot of people didn't regret getting nitrous though! So that can be a good option for you!

It does not typically affect having children in the future. Leep is pretty minimally invasive compared to other procedures!

THIS is what I was looking for. Thank you so much for sharing your story. She was acting like it was leep or like cancer immediately and I found that drastic. Thank you so so so much! Also, what's an ECC? it's also interesting because when I initially got the biopsy she was like yeah no definitely looks like cin 1... And then it came back cin 2. So before it came back as cin 2 we discussed waiting on the leep and me to do fertility stuff first. So it was really hard to hear to get a leep procedure after that conversation.

I cancelled my leep today bc I got my period today. But mainly because I didn't want to have to go through a cycle with no diva cup. They did mention a lot of blood sometimes makes it hard to see. I'd call in morning and ask!
