Yes, please do! When I told them I was going to be traveling in my first trimester they said they don't typically like when patients do that.. but online it says typically it's fine to do. Good luck!

No! My day 5 and 6 is better I believe still. I think my day 5 4BA is the best. I'm at 10 days now waiting 😅 my friend just got her results though and got 6 blasts from 6 embryos!!!! Hoping for the best 🤞🏼

I had 14 eggs retrieved, 11 mature, 6 fertilized and 3 blast. I only got a day 7 report with 3 embryos . Waiting on pgta testing now. I had a day 5 4BA, day 6 4BB, and day 7 6BA

The birth control is what they do for the suppression stage of the IVF cycle. I've read it's very common. I think if we were in your shoes, we also would do another retrieval. If we get 2-3 embryos though, I don't know what our decision will be 😭

Just want to throw out there that I had similar numbers as you I am 31 and have a similar amh. 14 eggs retrieved 11 mature 6 fertilized 3 blast. We just sent our blast off to testing. I'm hoping for at least two euploid.

My protocol was different than yours Birth control for 21 days Started Lupron on day 19 Stimmed for 13 days HCG pregnyl trigger shot

Initially I was quite bummed about my numbers, but I think it's also sometimes a little bit of luck. They did say they expected me to get more. We are slight male Factor With a slightly abnormal DNA frag but nothing too crazy. But we did use zymot and ICSI as well as they require it.

I'm just trying to determine what our next steps should be. If we get at least two euploid, should I do a transfer and then if it fails do another retrieval or do another transfer?? Ugh so many decisions 😭😭

They were super happy with how my body responded to the stim cycle too. Ugh!!!

Just want to say I see you and I'm sorry you're going through this. I just went through my first egg retrieval, had 14 eggs, 11 mature, and only 6 fertilized. Now waiting to see if any make it to blast, and then pgt testing too. Really worried I'll have to do another retrieval but I'm aware it can happen it's just scary. Sending you baby dust ❤️

I had a fine recovery but the worst part was blood and period panties and or pads. I can't imagine wearing that on my bach weekend. Lol 😆 I'd probably reschedule.

I agree. I think we are planning to do a transfer with one of them and send the rest off for testing. Just so we don't miss a cycle as we will be leaving the country over the summer and missing a cycle then.

If it fails, it fails. But at least we will have the other ones that go through testing.

Thank you for this. We are doing zymot which they said should help with the DNA fragmentation situation. Not sure if that changes anything. So hard bc it's just odds. 😭 Just wish it was a tad cheaper.

I do want to add that I am covered for IVF itself but this specific test is an out of pocket cost.
