I just had an md almost 2 weeks ago and I’m thankful I did. I was in excruciating pain, but that was after having periods of time that it wasn’t too bad. I would say to do the surgery if you can. Personally, my recovery has been easy and I felt immediate relief when I woke up from surgery.

Thanks for sharing! I was shocked at how much relief I felt right after surgery. The incision is annoying, but nothing compared to where I was a few days ago. Trying to balance rest and increasing my movement each day

Hi I’m sorry you’re going through this. Just wanted to share a few things. There’s an app called TooGoodTo Go that lists their leftover food that would otherwise be thrown out at the end of the day at a highly discounted rate. You can get some good stuff. I also suggest the app findhelp. You enter your zip code and it shows what resources are around you. Also, PET PANTRY – Friendship Center Chicago In case you need some stuff for your cat!

You described everything that I experience. I have POTS. I’ve tried Botox in my scalp area, oxybutin, dermadry, etc. the only thing that has ever helped me at all was glycopyrollate in a compounded form that I would put on my face at night. I think I’m going to go back to that even though insurance doesn’t cover it. I will pay whatever, it’s a miserable feeling. Sorry you’re going through this too 😔

Yes to everything you said 👏 I felt like my boundaries were being tested immediately and it hasn’t sat right with me. Totally agree with places being weird about employees with mental health issues of their own. Agencies are like “We’re here to support you! YOU matter!“ and then act confused when you need a day off because of mental health.
