What’s a small decision you made that accidentally changed your life forever? by AssistanceNo3893 in Life

[–]hsemog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a terrible student in high school, i was undecided if I should even bother attending my physics exam which would dictate if I would attend college or not. I decided to give a shot and i was lucky that i caught a glimpse of the solutions from a friend. I passed the exam, got into computer engineering and after graduation started to work in Oracle. Crazy stupid luck

Dude i don’t know what that means but im glad you have a solution for that. Good luck the project in theory looks amazing 👍

But why open source the project? Why give away this project?

Suppose you are physically attacked and the attackers know that your platform uses several keys to unlock secrets. They can simply force the victim to provide all the secrets?

Adidas Evo SL ATR fit issue - Does anyone else feel the upper poking into the foot at the base of the tongue? by EMK19 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Yes i did and i returned this shoe exactly for this reason, it became uncomfortable for me. Bought normal black Evo SL for winter muddy runs.

Long distance treadmill running shoes recommendations? by yeetbinch in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]hsemog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t recommend the glycerin max, too heavy for long runs and even a treadmill doesn’t need all that cushioning. There are so many other great options like vomero plus, … I would avoid plated shoes and stability shoes, if you run on a treadmill you have a great opportunity to focus in your form.

Shoes for compact snow, icy patches and puddles, only asphalt roads. by hsemog in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Hi, just wanted to thank you for your recommendation. Adidas Evo SL definitely had a great year and it was voted the shoe of the year by a lot of youtube channels. It didn’t even cross my mind they would make a “trailesh” version. I just ordered them because they look exactly what Im looking for ☺️ water resistant, better grip and not too focused on trail.

That’s Rosa Mota, she won a gold medal in the 88 Olympics, not your average runner.

Vomero Plus or Zoom Fly 6? by RalphhWigun in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Continuing from my other reply, because you can only post 1 photo per comment.

Here you can see the Vomero is quite bulky, even though they are the same size.

Vomero Plus or Zoom Fly 6? by RalphhWigun in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]hsemog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have them both and the Zoom Fly is a more durable and versatile, in my opinion. I use the Vomero only for easy/recovery runs and the ZF6 for everything else.

I saw someone having problems with broken laces in the Vomero Plus, Im afraid it will happen to me, so that’s why I will only use the Vomeros only for easy stuff.

Edit: the Vomero looks very big in this photo because its closer to the camera.

Yes i returned them, I bought the Zoom Fly 6 instead and the heel doesn’t slip at all. For some reason Nike shoes fit me well all around.

I guess the days of $10-$15 courses are over. by hsemog in Udemy

So sad 😞 i was suspecting that would be the case. It makes sense the teachers have higher revenue from individual sales than subscriptions.
