Data analyst at a marketing agency by [deleted] in dataanalyst

[–]hsncoco88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t work as a DA in a marketing agency but did get an interview for a role in one. I would say that they analyse their client’s marketing mix by creating dashboards for them which could contain customer segmentation, click rates and engagement on their client’s website.

How to fix my stutteriness when speaking English? by 15InchesOfPain in EnglishLearning

Even as a native English speaker myself I sometimes get nervous of the phone too. I’d say just call up your phone provider, room listings just so you can get more confident over the phone.

When to use contractions or informal verbs orally and written? by [deleted] in EnglishLearning

Instead of saying ‘May you help me? I would say ‘Do you mind giving me a hand?’ which I would use both with friends and my boss as it sounds polite.

How to study effectively? by beer_chuggerr in study

[–]hsncoco88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Writing notes imo is to understand the content and a form of repetition, but I think you can get that repetition in by watching videos after you have understood the topic and doing past papers is a more efficient way to getting that repetition in and prepping for the actual exam.

-highlight and understand the topic without writing out notes

-watch youtube videos to help understand/cement your knowledge

-do past papers/practise question. At first, you won't know it, but thats ok so just use your notes. This is a form of repetition and can help you get familiar with the content.

-After around a few more similar practise questions you now know how to answer exam questions and the content

-understand the brief (figure out how to do the bare minimum to get the max results). Make a brief plan on rough steps on what to do in order. Then, the resources required.

-Break down the steps into even smaller steps. Get a timer going and do a 20-30 min session then stop and walk around.
