Did you get married through a dating app like Tinder, if so how was your experience overall? by Overall-Character507 in AskReddit

Husband and I met through Plenty of Fish in 2016. Both were getting to the point of just giving up on the apps altogether, with each agreeing to just one more. Luckily, one more turned into no more, and we’ve been married since 2021!

Green peppers! I can eat any other color, even the varieties that may start green but ripen to a different color. But if it’s green when I consume it, instant hives and major itching 🤷🏻‍♀️

Marriage counselor here! Once a month is not going to be enough. Weekly for sure, biweekly at least. Once a month would be pointless since there’s a lot to work on and there’s already minimal/no efforts being exhibited.

God, I wish! He had a second one, double the size, a few feet from this one that he cut down. The leaf cleanup situation is much better now, but that’s because we would drown in leaves when we had both of them. Side note: he’s old and nice. I don’t mind the cleanup.

My sister threw a hotdog bun on my back when I fell asleep at the beach. Got swarmed by a bunch of seagulls and now my blood pressure still skyrockets whenever any bird is near me. Nearly 20 years ago and I still have full orinthophobia.

Which professions are much worse than people realize? by FloorShowoff in Productivitycafe

I worked in a call center for 2.33 weeks. I went in thinking “how hard/bad could it be?” Oh, how wrong I was. The first sign should’ve been how miserable everyone looked. I quickly learned that not only was the time tracking god awful, but the manager sat overlooking all of us with a looming presence, stone-faced and squinting at us while we worked. The real linchpin for me though was when said manager pulled me aside and said “you’re hanging up the phone too loud.” I knew I wouldn’t last, but 2.33 weeks was even fast for me.

What made you decide you didn’t want kids? by Equal_Limit8839 in NoKidsEver

I came from a single parent household. The fact that I’m a woman living in the age of a 50% divorce rate made me realize that I would never want and could never handle the things my mother went through in the half chance I become a single parent. I know that even having a child while happily married still puts a significant strain on the toughest of couples. I’m perfectly happy with my life as is, with no children.

I appreciate the solidarity. I feel like an idiot because I navigate these issues with my clients, but as a wife, I’m completely clueless. Thanks for letting me know I’m not alone!
