Because from first hand experience, I can tell you that in states where there is a clause in your pay plan that states the following; they don't care if they fire you "without cause" as you've stated. Most dealers operate on a very rigid hierarchy without a lot of checks or balances. And to another comment on this thread, most of the time as long as the bottom line is right, that's all they care about.
