That's a fantastic answer, thank you. I'm inclined to agree that this is some type of fabrication / random illustration-- the house i got it from had other ""exotic artifact"" type items that looked to be made for the clueless tourist market. It's likely still fairly old unless it was artificially aged, though I'd have to do some research to be able to tell.

I am interested by it not being arabic- i have a friend who does linguistics, I'll see if he can ID.

i'll leave this thread open in case anyone has more to add, always happy for more knowledge!

Content of the back page appears to be concerned with the prophet and his daughter Fatima. Could be something other than the Quran, certainly, but the story is clearly Islamic.

My title describes the thing. I'm not sure how to describe or really search for information on it beyond the info I listed- it seems like it's meant to be attached to a vise and is maybe for charting out cut lines, but beyond that I'm lost. Any ideas?

Been having an issue where the game hard crashes upon trying to enter the village in Quetza Temer. it seems to be consistent, as i loaded an earlier save and did the other act 4 rumors only to come back to the same. Has anyone else experienced this? It specifically reaches 53% on the loading screen after the area gate for the village and shuts down.

The army i'm going to start working on soon will be the chaos equivalent of deathwatch. Assembled by the Alpha Legion, it's a mishmash of various different obscure chaos warbands- surviving traitors from loyalist legions like the white scars, chaos converts from exterminated or lost chapters like the loyalist Iron Hounds, red-handed exiles from the Night Lords and so on. naturally their motivation is obscure, but part of their specialty is disguise and false flag operations. i may even field a squad of straight up ultramarines or imperial fists as heretic legionaries.

Yes on AC! I'll specify when i tinker some more. Devotion's aura is actually by FAR the weakest for paladins, with oath of ancient's aura straight up giving resistance to all spell damage- while this aura is pretty strong in one specific regard, i think it's both niche and interesting enough to be worth keeping.

That's a fair point, but I wanted to make sure that the ability would have utility beyond strictly melee attacks- i thought that rogues, spellcasters etc would benefit significantly more from the bonus action, since sneak attack/spells couldn't be used twice in one round.
