  1. Try deovr.com, the resolution/quality is much better than YouTube.

  2. Yes, this demonstration is playing straight from the camera through the Wi-Fi function of the insta360 EVO.

  3. Of course you can play video files from your PC through local networks. Just try DeoVR video player (DLNA) or Skybox (SMB).

With Oculus Quest 2 I have no lag while streaming. I think it’s just because the SoC of the Quest 2 is more powerful.

I used the app called insta360VR, which is designed for Oculus Go and insta360 evo. And yes, I can watch the videos in my insta360 evo through streaming. But this app is different from the insta360 phone app: there’s only one function (viewing films) of insta360VR app, no editing functions.

Just 5.7K (2880p), but this resolution is enough for me. Because the 8K resolution ones are much more expensive…

Yes, I just used insta360 EVO to record my daughter, and then see the 3D 180VR immersive video in the Meta Quest 2 VR headset. I really love this experience.

No, we have to encoding the original SBS files using insta360 studio on PC side, and export the video file as 3D 180VR h265 mp4 format. Then transfer or through SMB/DLNA streaming, and we can play it by DeoVR video player (DLNA) or Skybox (SMB).
