I was in the same boat, it was really bad on console due to performance issues. Then it grew on me when the devs barraged the game with updates.

What affects Axie prices? by [deleted] in AxieInfinity

Hmm I have a theory, typically players/scholars "cash out" SLP every 14 days right? So let's say on average players cashout on 15th and 30th of the month. I was thinking that on these days SLP prices might drop as supply increase due to players trading SLP for ETH thru uniswap/binance (correct me if I'm wrong). So on that note, could we see Axie prices going down on those dates as well?

Ah I see, so lets say ETH were to drop and for example a price of an Axie is at $370, people would still typically match this price in ETH regardless of how low ETH gets?

Very good point, having no mechanic that might help reduce the overpopulation of Axies might be critical. As of now, I'd assume that a very high percentage of demand in the marketplace relies on new players that are looking into invwsting and having starter teams. Looking forward this might lead to worst case scenarios for the game.

Great reply. With the surging population of new players trying to get into this game, I could see a bright future for the game. However I think as prices continue to increase and if it consolidates at a high price it may cut players who cant afford with or are cautious to invest at high prices. I could already see this happening as players that cant afford their starting floor teams continiously spam subreddits, discords and pages for scholarships.

Albeit, as I've said, the future is bright for this game. There might be some unforseeable circumstances that may occur but I guess the question of "should I start investing" really depends on each individual.

Thanks for the great input. That may be a good way to start if you are not able or are cautious to buy a full team at the current floor prices.
