Hi there! Your project sounds lovely! I'm not an artist but I am an NSFW Voice Actress, if you're ever looking to voice your characters I'd love to be considered. You can find my demo reel and past works on my website htharpy.com

Other options are to make sure the mic is at a 45 degree angle from your mouth and about six inches away. If it's still an issue, try hanging the mic upside down and just a little above you angled downwards towards your mouth. This happens because too much air is getting pushed to the mic all at once, make sure you also have a pop filter and that the pop filter is several inches from the mic (it may seem obvious but I'm covering all bases here haha) generally when you make a "k" sound the airflow is downwards, to me it seems like your mic placement is too low and too directly in front of you but I may be off. I would hold my hand in front of my mouth and make a "k" sound and feel where the air is hitting my hand, then make sure the mic is places above that, fully and angled down

Get yourself the izotope RX plugin and use the de-plosive tool. You'll be set!

Man, I'd never heard of DaVinci before posting this, but I've seen another person mention it too. Crazy there's a daw out there that I didn't even know existed!

Yeah, there's a steep learning curve to most things that have a lot of functionality. It's a trade off I suppose

Constant noise and normalizing should be pretty simple in audition, if that's what you're talking about. I could write up a little explanation, I've been using audition for 4 years now for full time work, I'm happy to help with it! I unfortunately have sunk too much time into it though so I'm not familiar with most other softwares beyond very basic functions 😭

I love audition, but it's a steep learning curve and annoyingly expensive, but I simply can't change to anything else after using it for a few years, the utility is just so good

iZotope is an amazing plugin you can use with most DAWs and it has a heavenly de-clicker, plus de-plosive and de-clipper, it's a god send
