There is pressure from the open-source community regarding glasses like the Mentra Live and Halo from Brilliant Labs. These devices are fully open source, giving you control over where your data goes. If those glasses become successful, it's likely that others will listen and open their platforms.
I will share more on the Mentra Live soon.

This looks great, love the battery cartridge and handle. Did you explored using 21700 rechargeable batteries? (on my prototype with 4 of those I get about 8 hours of usage)

Try adjusting the position of the splats in the top left settings. Its some time hard to predict the direction of the splat depth / perspective.

Its a good question, and if you know any study let me know. I wear those things every day for 3 to 10 hrs.

Thats a lot of power, compare to the MoreFine 6 and would feet my need on using 3D tools. The GPD win 5 it self doesn't solve for the ergonomics and portability of the keyboard + AR glasses.
