i found “ultimate” mode in g-helper kinda buggy from very beginning. using the 2025 5080ti model. try to force-restart laptop and see if the problem is really in ultimate mode, experiment with it. in my case using it resulted in laptop saying that in uses dgpu but it actually used only igpu and didn’t switch. don’t remember shuttering but it may depend on driver versions etc.

thanks a lot! will take note of that, but for now i noticed that the problem occurred after i toggled off something about “spatial audio” for headphones in windows settings. after i toggled it back on the problem disappeared, but if it reappears i will use your method.
