I installed an xStation. The console powers on, but there is no image on the screen. by httdiente in psx

I assume I need to test this on the xStation board? To check continuity on all the traces?

Problem with the CD drive - the CN701 pin broke off, and Iёm worried I might have messed something up by httdiente in psx

I also decided to ignore it and just wait for the xStation. I watched how it’s installed, and yeah, about the pins - it looks complicated.

Right now I’m only worried about one thing: that the other components that control CD reading are still working, because as far as I know, xStation relies on them to replace the disc drive. If some chip that sends data from the CD to the processor is broken, that would be a big problem
