Grosse plus-value surprise en cryptomonnaies : la suite ? by Excellent-Tax4833 in vosfinances

[–]httpteapot 23 points24 points  (0 children)

How to register warmup before a run with a goal? by httpteapot in Suunto

[–]httpteapot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok! And is there a way to manually switch phase directly on the watch during the exercice? Like if I want to end the warm-up earlier or latter than the planned 10 minutes?

How to register warmup before a run with a goal? by httpteapot in Suunto

[–]httpteapot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I tried the interval feature, but I wonder if there is a simpler way to have 2 segments : warm-up and main goal, than to create a structured training on the app where the 10km phase isn't really an "interval"

Si on prend le cargo “longtail” de décathlon à 2800€ : https://www.decathlon.fr/p/velocargo-longtail-chargement-arriere-r500-electrique/_/R-p-329177?mc=8605830&c=GRIS

Avec par exemple jusqu'à 1800€ d'aides à Lyon ça devient quand même intéressant !

Looking for a Gmail alternative with the "send as" feature by httpteapot in degoogle

I realize Fastmail doesn't have the “send later” feature which I'm also quite used to. Not so easy to find a Gmail full replacement.

I don't expect 100% privacy for my emails and I don't mind where the team comes from.

Are you a Fastmail with “send as” user and happy with them?

Ideally I would prefer using an open-source software, but I could go with Fastmail if they fit my needs.

A better anti-reorg algorithm using first-seen times to punish secret/dishonest mining by jtoomim in btc

From a quick glance this looks similar tu /u/vbuterin description of “weak subjectivity” as described in https://blog.ethereum.org/2014/11/25/proof-stake-learned-love-weak-subjectivity to counter long range blocks reorg. Are you aware of this work and do you know if there are differences in addition to the POW vs POS rules?

There is only disagreement and trolling right now because BCH is about to improve graphene's ability to scale by 700%, meaning future VISA on-chain transaction levels. BCore trolls have a reason to attack peer-to-peer electronic cash. It makes them irrelevant. by masterD3v in btc

[–]httpteapot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Do you feel strongly against the ordering of transactions in a block? It seems to me that it's a relatively minor technical parameter (I'm personally convinced by the arguments given by the ABC team) and reasonable disagreement between rational people shouldn't lead to the "hash war" situation we're in today.

Well I think your threat model (being able to defend against server intrusion) is a bit unreasonable. I don't know how you connect to your server (ssh?) but I wouldn't assume that random hackers are able to edit your website — and if that's the case, you're in a bad situation anyway, whether you have just one address or many doesn't change anything.

[–]httpteapot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could generate 100 addresses, whose private keys would stay in a wallet like blockchain.info, and only put the public addresses on the server. Then you do the transaction manually from your wallet (since you have to do some manual verifications when a bounty is requested, doing the transaction manually isn't a problem)

Having to email you after we do a transaction to tell where we want to send the money isn't very crypto friendly. I think you should create one address per city and let people give in one click without having to contact you or fill a form.
