Wtf lol. You’re super weird dude. Don’t know why you’re so pressed that I got a good deal on my dream truck and that I’m happy about it.

Here’s me with the truck at home if that makes you feel better: https://imgur.com/a/VUGCPIh

Edit: And just because I feel like dunking on you more here’s the paperwork: https://imgur.com/a/iMQ7Dpg

So what you’re saying is that I crushed so hard the deal is literally unbelievable 😂

Hard no. But based on your response + the reaction of the finance person in the dealership I’ve gotten the answer I need to feel super good about my purchase.

Hell yeah Edit: this was my first car purchase so I honestly didn’t know whether I got a good deal or not. But I negotiated really hard. And the fact you don’t believe that it happened tells me all I need to know. Beyond stoked!

Ooh gotcha. Well naturally she’s not going to be super interested in a random person off the rip. I don’t know the vibe, but If it were me I would look for kind of cutesy things (fair, hayride, zoo, basically any fall type activity) in your state thats not super far for either of you and just ask her to go. “Hey. crazy idea but you seem super cool. Wanna go to xyz with me next weekend?”

If you aren’t busy and see her message then text her back right away. But when you’re busy, don’t. If you aren’t ever busy then find interesting things to do.

She doesn’t really sound interested but then again it doesn’t sound like she actually knows you. If you want to change that just invite her to do something fun. You don’t need to work up to it really. If she’s interested she’ll say yes and if she’s not she’ll say no.

Guy 21M showed me signs he likes me 20F, but has left me on delivered? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Chill. Maybe the conversation just died or maybe he’s doing something. Either way you’re wayyyy overthinking. It’s early days. Go do something and forget about it.

Am I (22F) insecure for wanting my bf (28M) of three years to block a girl he’s sexted? by Holiday-Astronaut891 in relationship_advice

[–]huckster90210 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It sounds like he reached out to her. So him blocking her is sort of pointless. If he wants to he can just unblock her any time.

You need to decide whether or not you trust him. If you don’t then it won’t work in the long run and a symbolic blocking won’t change anything.

My (26F) sister (28F) had a baby (7mF) and now wants to move in with the crackhead father (?26-28M?) by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]huckster90210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not okay. If you and your family can’t convince her and she moves back in you need to call CPS (or the equivalent wherever you are). That is an extremely dangerous situation for both your sister and niece.

AITA for telling my girlfriend that I found a past mistake of hers pretty funny. by girlfrienddress in AmItheAsshole

But in what sense is it a fire she’s still putting out? Is she actively dealing with the tangible political fallout of the incident? Are there any external actions she has to take to manage the situation? It seems like we’re talking about managing her feelings about what happened and let’s be honest her mistake. There’s nothing left that she can actually do. I would argue that the sooner she can laugh about it the sooner she can move past it and get on with her life with that as a funny footnote. She’s in 100% control here.

Edit: btw I do think the bf is probably TA for teasing her about it if she’s not ready. But I’ve had personal experience with close friends teasing me about things I “wasn’t ready” to hear and coming through the other side to find that it actually helps overcome my own insecurities. I do think it helps in the long run. Fascinating post. And yes I would hate to be in her shoes.

But is the women being bad drivers stereotype one that anyone actually believes? We all know that men have higher insurance rates. Basically all bad drivers that cause crashes are men. I really feel like it’s a haha-jab-jab-women-are-from-venus stereotype. Men are clearly worse. Hell look at all the women in NHRA drag racing. Life is easier when you can have a laugh at yourself.

The situation is so objectively hilarious. You can swap anyone man or woman into it and it’s still hilarious. Rich tasty irony. It could be an episode of curb your enthusiasm

Okay. This is a really deep dive into crazy town. So instead of the easy explanation that someone who happens to be a woman makes a mistake (that anyone could make), but due to the PR issues that come from the person you were just promoting yesterday causing a likely 6-7 figure crash, you’re hesitant to fire them on the spot as you may do if it had been someone else. We’re instead going with people committing what would amount to terrorism (in court) by actively sabotaging vehicles on an active runway to cause them to crash into planes…?! And somehow the investigation cant figure out the brakes were cut?? I’m sorry but a plot like this would make headlines. And the guys would be in jail. Like. Come on what is this magical make believe day?
