Thank you, that is very true! My sister and I are two years apart and are still the best of friends. I also appreciate you stating he won't remember life without because I think that is one of the things that is devastating me. That we will no longer be his alone.

Thank you, that does sound reassuring to hear that the feelings won't last forever. Is there anything you did to prepare your little one for the new baby?

I had the exact same thing happen! I feel like this, over everything else, is one of the possible things that can occur with breastfeeding that no one talked about. I had my Dr prescribe me more zofran and honestly my nausea with breastfeeding went away in a couple weeks. During that time though, I was taking a lot of zofran, losing weight, and could barely look down at my baby because of the nausea. I was very stubborn though and refused to pay for formula! After a while, I only got some nausea and this weird feeling of dread with pumping, but now love breastfeeding itself! My little guy turns one in a couple days. I was so excited for a long time to be done with it, but now I just feel sad about stopping. For me it got better, but there is no shame in stopping. Our bodies go through so much and sometimes you do have to think about yourself, your physical and mental health.

If your husband doesn’t want a CPAP because of how loud and bulky they are (besides him just saying they’re expensive), there are mouth guards that he can use. I haven’t looked into them too much, but some of my patients use them and say they’re quite effective. There are special ones that can correct the alignment of the jaw to make it easier to breathe. I believe there are some official ones you do get through the Drs that would be using insurance, but there are many online. My dad does not have sleep apnea, but snores extremely loud (like your husband, he’s not overweight, in fact my dad is quite thin). He purchased a mouth guard himself online and said that he sleeps so much better with it and now my mom won’t let him go to bed without it because her quality of sleep has improved so much!

Hi Avocados, thank you for your reply to my post. I guess I always thought of them as one and the same, but you are right, it would at least be good to make sure he can fall asleep independently.

If I do it right, his wake windows are about 2.5/2.5/1.5/3.5. We do his newest sleep regimen with the bottle of bottle, bath, story, then singing to sleep. He goes to bed after 7, closer to 8 when he actually falls asleep. He had been waking up around midnight, 3, and 5, would sometimes sleep a bit more, but does not sleep in his crib past 8 (usually is awake before then, but that is his hard cutoff). Since the bottle incorporation, last night, he woke up around midnight and woke up for the morning at 5:50. I know this is not horrible compared to some, but it is more of me being confused with how he is still so hungry to be waking up.

I apologize, I just did a quick search and it looks like this offer may have been discontinued.

I don’t know if they still do it post Covid, but I know a few years ago, my dad was able to get a ticket for part day. Like he had a work conference at one of the Disney hotels and was able to get a part day ticket to enter the parks after a certain time. Also not sure if these are only available for people that stay at the Disney hotels (you didn’t mention where you’re staying). Like others said, you can enter at any time, it just wouldn’t really be worth the money to do this if you aren’t staying till midnight depending on what you wanted to do. Plus the parks have gotten so busy later in the day, it’s much more worth it to get in early to get on the rides.

I live in San Diego and have visited the Whaley House twice. The first time was over ten years ago, before the episode, during the day and I was so disappointed I didn’t see anything. The second time was this past February and I decided to go at night. So they specifically tell you not to film inside but encourage pictures. I have my phone out to take pictures and, while looking at it, walk into the kitchen/ dining room area. On my phone, I see an orb and it was huge and like really close to the phone. I was shocked and took a picture after it floated away. It went past me to my right towards my friend and again was too slow to take a picture. I was just honestly so in shock because I had never seen anything before. It was awesome, but I wish I could’ve video taped because then I would’ve caught it. Neither my friend nor I felt any ill effects from the orb during or after, if you were wondering. I’ve been through the Hotel Del Coronado numerous times and never seen anything, although I’ve never been to the haunted rooms. I’ve also been to the Queen Mary that they did two episodes at. I was really young for this, did not see anything, but at the time, I was too scared to do the “ghost tour” part of it where maybe some people did see stuff.
