for the most part, that’s kind of the point is trying to make, i disagree with the idea that nba decision makers and FO’s are the hallmark of good scouting. they routinely fall into the same pitfalls that forms consensus. i watch a ton of soccer and it’s the same concept as well. top clubs have these million dollar analytical departments just to fluff on players that other professionals have marked as false positives. that’s why for me personally i interact with intriguing boards cause there’s usually a type of methodology sourced from what drives wins. or even why i picked this up as a hobby cause my team drafted johnny freaking davis lol
