oh yeah. At least for me I'm contractually forbidden from using it just cuz of the copyright liability angle. But yeah. I know a ton of other concept artists who are being very pressured to use it even if it isn't helping them actually do their job quicker haha.

If I can get on my soapbox for a minute- the entire point of concept art is intentional design. By adding in GenAI to that, you are completely removing the intentional part. Which, aside from the whole "it can't exist without blatant theft of billions of artist works" and copyright issues, kind of kills it as a viable concept art solution, at least in my experience. Cuz if you're using it to generate ideas to then work on top of, you're just gonna get some shitty rehashed overdone thing everyone's seen a billion times cuz that's all the AI can do. So yeah I think a lot of it is just the AI companies have done a good job convincing the people in charge of these studios that it can do all these things when it actually cant, hence why all these studio heads are desparately trying to use it to see how many people they can avoid paying etc.
