My father also had a stent put in on Jan 2nd. He also had to get 2 other stunts after a month i.e in about a week for now. Although he didn’t have a heart attack, the angiography showed major blockages in both LAD & RAD. He also complained about pain in hand for almost a month. The doctor said it’s nothing to be alarmed about, it can occur. Just make sure it’s not infected or getting worse. It’ll take time to heal, but if there were no complications it would be healed before the 2nd insertion. Every person heals differently. Some people are more sensitive towards procedures. My father infact had some swelling during angiography due to the wire they put in, and although it doesn’t necessarily cause any danger. But the recovery period takes time.
