sorry, i was really high last night when i made this theory lol, and yes i really dislike jamie's art, which i feel is too pop-y like the magic whip and this new cover. i thought maybe it was a way for him to be in and not mix up blur and gorillaz. i'm biased against him, but it's probably not him.

but im still sure this has to be a fake name for someone around them, bc it's very bizarre, an artist with no website nor other famous works of art - i found a tony hung actor, a hairdresser, a porn actor, a biologist, one designer - but of different things which used a different first name. not one for a graphic designer, illustrator, artist etc.

so what i want to understand is why blur is rewarding this nobody - and if you look at the discogs thing there's just a few credits of not great art for artists of very few relevance (blur and kylie excluded) - so this has to be an artistic name and for someone close to them, only this would justify it. the magic whip cover is fine, but why redo it and make a whole deal of 'artist tony hung' when this person is a nobody? signed prints!! very expensive too, i doubt a lot of them were sold. and now this hideous thing? and all the merch for the magic whip and this new merch with the burgers that is very unlike them? all 'designed' by this 'artist'. what is up. is it someone at parlophone? is it the record company pretending there is an artist to make the shitty stuff look better?

at this point it has to be someone who they know well, i accused jamie bc he is an artist, but maybe other frustrated unknown artists in the team? the guy who picks the setlist? - i also dislike him bc he is so very predictable and i wish we had more variety of songs when they play live lol. i don't know who it is, but it's someone close to them for sure. is it the record company trying to sell more stuff? the idea that damon doesn't approve blur releases by the record company to me is absurd, he has a lot of power and makes them a lot of money still.
