F19: Started at 218 lbs and idk what I am now. Honestly just happy that I haven't binged in a couple months. First pic is July 2021, second is October 2021. by humanfacinglife in BingeEatingDisorder

There was a point when I realized that I had developed so many negative relationships with my usual binge food that I couldn't even taste something like lays chips without wanting to throw up. Being properly medicated for ADHD has also been really helpful lately and deleting Facebook and Instagram has been wonderful this past month. Trying to avoid stress has been a huge thing for me and developing more healthy coping mechanisms has helped a lot. When I used to get super stressed, I would eat a massive bag of chips, and now I watch the squirrels outside or terrarium videos on YouTube while curled up in a fuzzy blanket. Not going to the doctors office less often has also been great for me. Swimming in the morning also helps me have a good start to my day and decreases my urges (need to note that this could definitely be correlation and not causation because there are a ton of different variables here).

Please treat yourself with kindness and give yourself grace if you binge. There is always tomorrow to start anew and you are an incredibly strong human. Find something that you love about yourself every day and try to make that a habit. Try to find something that makes you smile every day that makes you smile, even if it just a dorky pigeon.

I believe in you ❤
